Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne
Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne is a celebration for professionals, 5 days of tastings, held every two years.
Absolutely fabulous tasting of Vosne-Romanée and Clos de Vougeot wines on the last day. Once there, I couldn't leave until just before closing time. Communal and Prémieux Cru for starters, then Grand Cru. Echezeau and Claude de Vougeot are practically on every table, you must agree, it's so simple and ordinary, why not treat them to good people? More serious households also had Grand Echezeau, and where else could you try several Richebourg in one place?
My undying love is Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair, even their communal wine was great!
How not to remember the old thought - the best red wines in the world come from the commune of Vont-Romane.....
