The villa

Your home in Burgundy and Champagne

Villa Thaïs is a beautiful historic mansion built in 1893 during the period which was later called “La Belle Époque”. We restored the Villa preserving its unique style but also adding the modern comforts. Our guests can enjoy a cosy garden, private parking and fast Wi-Fi.

Conveniently located between Northern Burgundy and Southern Champagne, near Chablis, fairytale castles, the most beautiful villages of France and also vineyards and wineries. The Villa’s central location in Tonnerre provides easy access to historical monuments, restaurants, shops, and direct train connections with Paris and Dijon.

Olga & Yury

At Villa Thaïs, we, Olga and Yury Praushkin, create unique experience and memorable impressions for our guests.

Our love for Burgundy began in 1992 when Yury come to this the region for the first time. He was charmed by its culture, beauty and wines. We opened our Villa Thaïs in 2019 merging in this project our extensive experience and the knowledge of local food and wine.
